While John's in California I'm doing some extra stitching. . .Gabrielle asked me, "How do you choose which fabrics goes where?"
"As you like it. . .that's my motto!"
My favorite part of making a baby quilt is arranging the squares. I just choose lovely fabric (these are by Moda) and play to my hearts content.
Maybe I'll deliver this one to little Florence in person next month.
We'll see. . .

mom! this is beautiful! i couldn't have picked out colors and designs better if I did it myself. I cannot wait to see it in a few weeks!
